First Fruit Trees

It all started with palm trees and tropical plants, and I managed to keep them alive. The next step in my growth with my gardening skills, I decided to go with a few plants.

First, I chose the Ice Cream / Blue Java banana tree. One daughter fell in love with the banana plantations in the Philippines. After researching banana trees and variations, I chose the ice cream tree for the flavor and texture.

Second, I can not get enough of mango’s from Cebu. The next closest thing was to plant one!

Third, the avocado tree was a must with the large amounts of avocado consumed in the house.

Last, is the Brazilian Jaboticaba tree. I was researching grapes and came across this delightful tree that will produce purple fruits.
